People Source is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to oversee safety operations on a large-scale data center construction project in Ridgeville, SC . The ideal candidate will have strong construction safety experience, be knowledgeable in OSHA requirements, and be comfortable working directly with field crews, foremen, and project management.

Responsibilities

• Manage and enforce site safety policies and OSHA requirements.
• Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
• Develop, review, and enforce JSAs (Job Safety Analyses) and site-specific safety procedures.
• Lead toolbox talks, safety meetings, and worker orientations.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
• Maintain safety documentation, reports, and corrective action records.
• Work closely with superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, and project management.
• Monitor fall protection, rigging, lifting, PPE, electrical, equipment, and other construction safety requirements.
• Ensure workers follow project-specific safety procedures and client requirements.

Requirements

• Construction safety management experience, preferably on data center, industrial, or large commercial projects .
• Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) certification required.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards.
• Experience creating and reviewing JSAs/JHAs .
• Ability to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
