Orbital Flight Instrumentation (OFI) Engineer

Cimarron is seeking an Orbital Flight Instrumentation (OFI) Engineer to support the Boeing's CST-100 Starliner spacecraft as a part of NASA's Commercial Crew Program at Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

Key Duties:

• Work with subsystem teams to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
• Analyze and translate requirements into system, hardware and software designs and interface specifications.
• Test and validate hardware to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
• Monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.
• Manage OFI subsystem RCCA activities and provide status to stakeholders over the entire product lifecycle.
• Research specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs.
• Coordinate with hardware and software teams to ensure OFI subsystem integration aligns with program objectives.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

• This is a sensitive/safety-sensitive position and is subject to DOT random drug and alcohol testing.
• This position requires access to federal facilities. Candidates must possess a valid, unexpired Real ID-compliant driver's license or state-issued identification card at the time of hire. • 2 or more years of related experience.
• Experience in orbital flight instrumentation, particularly in space or airborne systems.
• Excellent technical documentation review and verification skills.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills, with experience working across multidisciplinary teams.
• Bachelor's degree.

Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:

• Experience supporting NASA or aerospace programs.
